1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using whodis.chat, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use whodis.chat. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

3. Description of Service

whodis.chat provides a platform for anonymous text and video conversations between users. The service is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees about the availability, quality, or content of conversations.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use whodis.chat in compliance with our Community Rules and all applicable laws. You are solely responsible for your behavior and any content you share during conversations. You must not use the service for any illegal purpose.

5. Privacy

Your use of whodis.chat is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in that policy.

6. Moderation and Monitoring

To enforce our Community Rules, whodis.chat operates automated and human moderation. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Our moderation team may view live video sessions, including audio, while they are in progress — for example when a session is flagged by automated systems or reported by another user
• Periodic snapshots (face thumbnails) may be captured from video sessions and retained for up to 90 days for moderation and ban enforcement
• Text and GIF messages are stored for up to 30 days for moderation purposes
• We use browser fingerprinting and a persistent device identifier for the sole purpose of enforcing bans and detecting ban evasion

7. Plus Passes

whodis Plus is an optional one-off time pass that adds extras on top of the free service; nothing that is free today is moved behind it. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. When you buy a pass we store a pass record (the pass code, its expiry, and the IP address and device fingerprint it was bought from) for 12 months, so you can restore the pass on another device and so we can investigate fraud. Passes stack: buying another one extends the time you already have. Passes are non-refundable once you have started using them.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and functionality of the whodis.chat platform are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to whodis.chat at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including violation of these terms or our Community Rules. Upon termination, all provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, whodis.chat and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This includes damages for loss of data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless whodis.chat and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
