Yes. Guest text and video chat, leaving and reporting are free, with no account. Optional Plus passes add extras when available; purchases are switched off while checkout is unavailable.
How does interest matching work?
Add topics before you start and people with the same interests are matched with you first. With Interests only switched on you wait for a shared interest; otherwise you may be matched more broadly when it is quiet.
Can the other person see my IP address or location?
Your IP address, no: calls run through an encrypted relay, so your partner does not learn your network address through the call. They are shown the country detected for your connection.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, in a mobile browser such as Safari or Chrome, with no app to install. Video needs camera and microphone permission; text chat works without either.
Are chats recorded?
Calls are not recorded; periodic snapshots are kept for moderation for up to 90 days. Text messages are kept for 30 days, and authorised moderators can view live sessions.
How old do I need to be?
You must be 18 or older. Report anyone who appears to be under 18 so a moderator can review it.
