What another person can learn
A chat partner sees your messages, and in video mode your camera and microphone feed. Your face, voice, surroundings or anything you share may identify you. They may capture the conversation on their own device.
Whodis uses encrypted relay-only video connections so your network IP is not exposed to your partner through the call. The service and relay provider still process connection IPs.
What the service retains
Text and GIF messages are retained for up to 30 days; periodic moderation snapshots for up to 90 days. Authorised staff may inspect live sessions. Browser identifiers support guest features and ban enforcement. See the Privacy Policy for the full details.
Choose what you share
Use text chat when you do not want to use a camera. Avoid sharing contact details, addresses and financial information. Leave or report unwanted interactions. Read Safety before starting.
